Health Coop. With Kyrgyzstan

Iran and Kyrgyzstan signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to boost cooperation between the two Muslim countries in the health sector. The MoU was signed at a ceremony attended by Health Minister Hassan Hashemi and his Kyrgyz counterpart Talantbek Batyraliyev in Tehran on Sunday, ISNA reported.  Hashemi emphasized that Tehran is prepared to cooperate with Bishkek in various areas of medical education, research and healthcare.  “We can also have good cooperation within the framework of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO),” he said referring to the ten-nation Tehran-based group in which the two countries are members.
