The 21st International Exhibition of Press and News Agencies will open in Tehran on November 7.
The week-long annual event will host over 500 newspapers, periodicals, news agencies and websites, said a spokesman for the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Hussein Nushabadi on Saturday.
Over 1,000 periodicals published by university student NGOs and other media organizations will be presented, IRNA reported.
Last week Nushabadi had said the ministry plans “to commission a non-government organization to organize the event” and to decentralize the exhibition by holding it in provincial capitals in the future.
The event will run till November 13 at Imam Khomeini Mosalla (prayer ground).
