Family Health Clinics will be established in nine provinces by the year-end, said Dr. Athareh Nejadi, deputy to the vice-president for Women and Family Affairs.
“The scheme is in line with the population policy guidelines set by the Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, that target removing marriage barriers, facilitate and accelerate matrimony, and consolidate family pillars,” she said, ISNA reported.
Health Ministry will establish the clinics at polyclinics of universities of medical sciences in Tehran, Khorasan Razavi, Isfahan, Tabriz, Alborz, Fars, Kerman, Ilam and Khuzestan provinces to provide fast and convenient access to healthcare and consultancy services to family members.
“We are planning to make it a nationwide program in the upcoming year,” she said.
