Single gas stations equipped with one fuel dispenser and a couple of pumps will be launched across Tehran, said Mohammad Salari, head of the city council’s Architecture and Urban Planning Commission.
One of the major challenges in the metropolis is lack of sufficient gas stations leading to higher intercity travels, heavy traffic and as a result, waste of time and fuel, reports ISNA.
The proposal was made by the Ministry of Oil and approved by the Parliament. District municipalities will provide land and facilities for the gas stations.
