Three universities of medical sciences will offer residency programs in family medicine from the second half of the current Iranian year (started March 21), said Deputy Health Minister Baqer Larijani. “The curriculum for family physicians is finalized and we hope to implement it as of October in Shiraz, Tehran and Mazandaran universities of medical sciences,” IRNA quoted him as saying.
“Other universities will be authorized to hold the residency programs if they have the required infrastructure,” he said.
