An exhibition on Iranian air and space industry will be held from November 25 to 27, 2015, in Tehran.
Germany, England, France and Russia have announced their readiness to participate in the event.
The exhibition will showcase technical advancements in the fields of aircraft repair and maintenance, building airplanes and airport equipment, Tinn News Agency reported.
Amin Salari, the head of Iranian Aviation and Space Industries Association, said due to space limitations in the last five exhibitions, air shows were not performed.
"However, this year, the exhibition is being held on the east side of Chitgar Lake, an artificial and recreational lake located in northwest Tehran. The location is ideal for setting up takeoff and landing areas, therefore an air show for aircrafts and helicopters has also been planned," he said.
Salari noted that apart from foreign companies, Iranian private companies, governmental companies active in the field of aviation and airline companies are also taking part in the event.
