Iran’s Allameh Tabatabai University (ATU) and Spain’s Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) signed a memorandum of understanding to extend scientific cooperation. In a meeting between Najmeh Shobeiri, dean of Spanish Literature at ATU, and Jose Manuel Lucia Megias, vice-chancellor of UCM, the two sides agreed on student as well as teacher exchange programs, and to grant research scholarships and fellowships. “In meetings on September 9 and 16 in Spain, more agreements to expand academic collaboration will be signed,” IRNA quoted Shobeiri as saying.
