Iran is ready to cooperate with the Ugandan police force, said Police Chief Brigadier General Hossein Ashtari, in a meeting with Uganda’s visiting Inspector General of Police General Kale Kayihura and his delegation, in Tehran. A special committee under INTERPOL has been formed to follow implementation of bilateral cooperation between Iran and Uganda, Ashtari said, reports IRNA. The two sides will share experiences. Iran Police have a high standing globally and are a completely indigenously-equipped force, stressed Ashtari, adding that they are ready to interact with the Ugandan side in all areas, including technical services.
