Head of Pasteur Institute of Iran Mostafa Qaneyee, says Iran is ready to export Hepatitis and BCG vaccines to Syria. “The Syrian health minister who visited the institute recently, acknowledged it as a reputed institute and said a technical team would be sent to sign-up for the vaccines soon,” Mehr News Agency quoted him as saying. Qaneyee said the supply of vaccines by Iran is an endorsement of the quality, safety and the integrity of the products, and “we will soon export the two crucial vaccines to Syria.” BCG is a vaccine against tuberculosis and for the treatment of some bladder cancers.
