Masih Daneshvari Hospital in north Tehran has been ranked the top tuberculosis and respiratory center in the country.
Specialized in respiratory and lung diseases, the hospital is affiliated to Tehran’s Shahid Beheshti University and presided over by Dr. Ali Akbar Velayati, a top advisor to the Leader, Ayatollah Khamenei.
The educational deputy at the Health Ministry had invited 50 medical centers in the country to submit their scientific works for assessment. They were evaluated in terms of quality of education, medical innovation and research papers, reports IRNA. The second and third places went to the endocrine scientific centers, affiliated to Tehran University of Medical Sciences and Shahid Beheshti University, respectively.
