An official in the Ministry of Health announced an increase in pay for medical residents and interns. Dr. Amir Hussian Ziaee told ISNA the salary they receive is not adequate considering the drop in purchasing power. There would be more initiatives through cooperation with universities for better pay and working conditions for medical professionals, he added.
