Nearly 3 to 5% of the population in Sistan-Baluchestan Province is infected with Hepatitis B and C, said Mohammad Kiani, executive deputy director of the provincial health center, speaking on the occasion of the World Hepatitis Day in Tehran, on Tuesday. Studies show that 2% of Iranians are infected with Hepatitis B, but the figure is higher in the provinces of Golestan and Sistan-Baluchestan, he said, IRNA reported.
