Risk-taking is the key to success for traders in the Iraqi market, said deputy minister of industries, mining and trade in economic and business affairs. “By identifying and tackling trade barriers in Iraq with a risk-taking spirit, we can monopolize the Iraq market,” ISNA quoted Mojtaba Khosrotaj as saying. “Our main issue is the high price of our exported products. Iranian traders have to compete with China, which exports products about 50% cheaper,” he said. Khosrotaj stressed the need for establishing export consortiums in order to increase the output of manufacturing units and reduce prices.
