A member of the Majlis National Security and Foreign Policy Commission advised the West to seize the current opportunity to reach a nuclear deal with Iran, stressing the chance will not last forever.
“At present, there is a consensus in Iran on the nuclear issue, and the West had better make the best use of the opportunity because such a consensus will not last forever,” Lawmaker Hossein Naqavi Hosseini told ISNA on Tuesday.
“No one in the Islamic Republic is opposed to talks… at present everybody agrees that the solution to the nuclear issue is negotiations to reach an agreement.”
In addition, he said, “We have made no unreasonable demands and what we have set as red lines are completely logical, and only the other side’s excessive demands have blocked the negotiations.”
