Venders of Tehran’s District 12, particularly in the vicinity of the Tehran Grand Bazaar, are to receive uniforms and business certificates after passing specific training courses at the Entrepreneurship and Development Centers of the State Welfare Organization, said Meysam Amroudi, deputy head of Tehran Municipality for cultural and social affairs.
“Any action toward venders that will disrupt their livelihood will not be proper, and that is why they are allowed to offer their wares in specific streets of District 12 after obtaining the certificates,” he said, Fararu reported.
Sidewalks of 30-Tir, Bab-e Homayoun, and Shohada streets will be available for trained and licensed venders.
