FIFA President Sepp Blatter sent a congratulatory message on Saturday to Sepahan Football Club on winning the Iran Pro League (IPL) championship.
“Claiming championship at the national football level is an excellent opportunity to show the team’s performance to everyone and I want you to accept my wholehearted felicitations in this regard,” IRNA quoted Blatter as saying.
Appreciating the efforts made by all the players and coaches, and the support of loyal fans of Sepahan, Blatter said, “endeavors of all those behind this championship have contributed to the achievement.” He called on Sepahan club to keep going and wished success for the team.
Sepahan club, from Isfahan, managed to claim its fifth title at the 2014-15 Persian Gulf Pro League last week.
