The first Coordinated Workforce Council for health security will be formed in the current Iranian calendar year (started March 21) to ensure safety and health of 20 million workers in the labor force, said Mehdi Sohrabi, an official at the health ministry.
“The council was formed in cooperation with employee associations, ministry of cooperatives, labor and social affairs, employers associations, the Worker’s House, and the health ministry,” IRNA quoted him as saying.
