Turkey sent troops and reconnaissance planes into the eastern Agri province after four soldiers were wounded in an overnight clash with Kurdish insurgents, the military said on Saturday, Reuters reported. The clash between Turkish armed forces and members of the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) was still on-going, the military said in a statement on its website.
