In a message to his Irish counterpart Michael Daniel Higgins on Tuesday, President Hassan Rouhani extended congratulations on the occasion of St. Patrick's Day, which is Ireland's national day and is celebrated on March 17, IRNA reported. In his message, Rouhani expressed hope that bilateral relations would be expanded and peace and stability in the region and world would be promoted through "mutual efforts and interaction."
