The Volkswagen Passat has been named European Car of the Year 2015 on the eve of the annual Geneva Motor Show, Euronews reported. The Passat beat off competition from six other finalists, including the highly-rated Citroen C4 Cactus, which came in second. The Mercedes Benz C-Class was third. The Volkswagen Passat won by 90 points, one of the largest ever margins.
