As part of a plan to organize urban transportation in Tehran, pick-up trucks will be monitored closely. Jaffar Tashakkori, transportation deputy at Tehran Municipality said delivery services across the city, which is usually done by pick-up trucks, has been neglected. He added that as the first stage of the monitoring, all the loads in pick-up trucks that have not been measured and labeled “will be examined to collect the necessary data to come up with a set of regulations” to organize and oversee their work in the future.
