Iraqi Minister of Education Hussain Al-Shahristani, called for expansion of scientific and technological cooperation with the University of Tehran (UT).
On the sidelines of the ministerial conference of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) on science and technology in Tehran from February 22 to 24, the Iraqi minister held discussions with Mahmoud Nili Ahmadabadi, acting administrator of UT, Mehr News Agency reported.
Al-Shahristani called for exchange of students and professors as well as carrying out joint projects particularly in the fields of water and environment. Nili Ahmadabadi said UT was ready for mutual cooperation.
