    TSE Growth Dismal

    Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, gained 563.74 points or 0.03% on Wednesday to end at 2,202,656.96, while its equal-weighted index gained 0.37%.

    About 8.36 billion shares worth 63.33 trillion rials ($140.74 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

    Sina Chemical Industries Company led the winners, as its shares jumped by 8.56% to 4,440 rials per share.

    Glass and Gas Industries Group Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies, when it plunged by 4.67% to 34,910 rials per share.

    Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company, Bouali Sina Petrochemical Company and Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company.

    MAPNA Group Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by the National Iranian Copper Industries Company, Parsian Bank and Dr. Abidi Pharmaceutical Company.

     

     IFX Gains 0.1%

     

    Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gained 28.11 points or 0.1% to close Wednesday at 28,441.95.

    About 6.88 billion securities worth 65.82 trillion rials ($146.26 million) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

    Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 430.07 million worth 606.07 billion rials ($1.34 million).

    Pegah Gilan Dairy Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies, climbing 6.2% to reach 28,250 rials per share.

    The big loser was Maskan Pardis Investment Company that dipped by 5.63% to reach 18,440 rials per share.

    Zagros Petrochemical Company, Sepehr Saderat Financial Group Investment Company, Day Bank and Sepidar System Asia Company had the most negative impact on IFX.

    Iran Cultural Heritage and Tourism Investment Group Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Daana Pharmaceutical Company, Jahrom Power Plant Development Company and Pasargad Oil Company.
