Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, gained 13,461.65 points or 0.63% on Sunday to end at 2,157,377.13.
The TSE equal-weighted index gained 1.06%.
About 8.37 billion shares worth 65.23 trillion rials ($144.95 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Bahman Investment Company led the winners, as its shares jumped by 6.53% to 5,870 rials per share.
Fars Construction and Development Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 4.84% to 34,420 rials per share.
Mobin Energy Persian Gulf Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company, Mellat Bank and Kourosh Food Industry Company.
Mobarakeh Steel Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by the National Iranian Copper Industries Company, Iran Khodro Company and Nouri Petrochemical Company.
IFX Gains 1.44%
Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gained 396.45 points or 1.44% to close Sunday at 28,001.55.
About 5.32 billion securities worth 43.52 trillion rials ($96.71 million) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 500.35 million worth 665.72 billion rials ($1.48 million).
Tuka Paint Foolad Sepahan Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies
climbing by 6.6% to reach 25,050 rials per share.
The big loser was Northeast Shahroud Industrial and Mining Company, which plunged by 4.55% to reach 191,850 rials per share.
Sirjan Jahan Steel Complex, Marun Petrochemical Company, Pegah Golestan Dairy Company and Vitana Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
Arya Sasol Polymer Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Gohar Zamin Iron Ore Company,
Iran Khodro Diesel Company and Sepehr Saderat Financial Group Investment Company.
