Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, struggled on Saturday hardly gaining 704.82 points or 0.03% to end at 2,182,812.18 while the TSE equal-weighted index edged up 0.31%.
About 9.43 billion shares worth 78.45 trillion rials ($174.35 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Iran Tire Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 6.99% to 3,045 rials per share.
Navard Aluminum Manufacturing Group Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 6.09% to 14,040 rials per share.
Tamin Petroleum and Petrochemical Investment Company had the most negative impact on TEDPIX, followed by National Iranian Copper Industries Company, Esfahan Oil Refining Company and Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines Company.
Bank Mellat gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Chadormalu Mining And Industrial Company, Bouali Sina Petrochemical Company and Pardis Petrochemical Company.
IFX Falls 0.13%
Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX lost 36.44 points or 0.13% to close Saturday at 27,958.02.
About 6.55 billion securities worth 83.66 trillion rials ($185.92 million) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 859.88 million worth 1.25 trillion rials ($2.8 million).
A.S.P Construction Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 7% to reach 11,470 rials per share.
The big loser was Hamoun Saba Investment Company losing 5.75% to reach 3,656 rials per share.
Iranian Ghadir Iron and Steel Company, Iran Khodro Diesel Company, Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical Company and Minoo Industrial Group Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
Arya Sasol Polymer Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Pouya Zarkan Agh Darreh Company, Hormozgan Steel Company and Zagros Petrochemical Company.
