    Shares Post Meager Growth

    Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, gained 4,720.06 points or 0.21% on Sunday to end at 2,302,705.5 and the TSE’s equal-weighted index moved up barely by 0.41%.

    About 12.7 billion shares worth 104.65 trillion rials ($232.56 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

    Fars Nov Cement Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 6.72% to 89,600 rials per share.

    Piranshahr Food Products and Sugar Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 6.06% to 16,750 rials per share.

    Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Nouri Petrochemical Company, Pardis Petrochemical Company and Sadr Tamin Investment Company.

    Mellat Bank gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company, Social Security Investment Company and Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines Company.

     

     

    IFX Rises 0.07%

    Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gained a tiny 21.68 points or 0.07% to close Sunday at 28,938.15.

    About 7.92 billion securities worth 403.18 trillion rials ($895.95 million) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

    Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 1.38 billion worth 2.08 trillion rials ($4.62 million).

    Iranian Zinc and Lead Production Development Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.92% to reach 9,730 rials per share.

    The big loser was Rahavard Tamin Pharmaceutical Company plunging 6.57% to reach 89,600 rials per share.

    Shiraz Oil Refining Company, Day Bank, MAPNA Asaluyeh Power Generation Company and Pasargad Oil Company had the most negative impact on IFX.

    Sepehr Saderat Financial Group Investment Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Saba Tamin Investment Company, Maadiran Industries Company and Khazar Sea Shipping Lines Company.
