    Tehran Stocks Rally 

    Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, gained 40,787.23 points or 1.67% on Sunday to end at 2,479,339.73. The TSE equal-weighted index added 1.94%.

    About 24.7 billion shares worth 192.84 trillion rials ($428.55 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

    Nasir Machine Engineering Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 21.29% to 18,000 rials per share.

    Vehicle Axle Manufacturing Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 4.17% to 6,210 rials per share.

    Iran Aluminum Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Opal Kani Pars Mining and Processing Company, Persian Gulf Fajr Energy Company and Shazand Petrochemical Company.

    Mobarakeh Steel Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by National Iranian Copper Industries Company, Tamin Petroleum and Petrochemical Investment Company and Mellat Bank.

     

     

    IFX Rises 1.92%

    Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gained 583.72 points or 1.92% to close Sunday at 30,954.28.

    About 10.01 billion securities worth 400.38 trillion rials ($889.75 million) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

    Kerman Province Development Investment Company had the highest number of traded shares at 527.28 million worth 959.15 billion rials ($2.13 million).

    North West Housing Investment Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 7.64% to reach 13,800 rials per share.

    The big loser was Tolid Darou Pharmaceutical Company plunging 4.52% to reach 22,200 rials per share.

    Sirjan Jahan Steel Complex, Shahid Tondgooyan Petrochemical Company, Sarcheshmeh Copper Investment Company and Iranol Oil Company had the most negative impact on IFX.

    Gohar Zamin Iron Ore Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Arya Sasol Polymer Company, Hormozgan Steel Company and Sepehr Saderat Financial Group Investment Company.
