Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, gained 2,361.33 points or 0.10% on Monday to end at 2,326,494.30. The TSE equal-weighted index climbed 1.02%.
About 21.34 billion shares worth 149.62 trillion rials ($332.5 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Iran Radiator Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 9.38% to 7,110 rials per share.
Pars Refractories Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 6.24% to 7,360 rials per share.
Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Pars Petrochemical Company, Esfahan Oil Refining Company and National Iranian Copper Industries Company.
Tamin Petroleum and Petrochemical Investment Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Middle East Mines and Mineral Industries Development Holding Company, Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company and Chadormalu Mining And Industrial Company.
IFB Falls 0.52%
Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX lost 152.29 points or 0.52% to close Monday at 29,055.64. About 12.93 billion securities worth 2,409.28 trillion rials ($5.35 billion) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 965.87 million worth 1.3 trillion rials ($2.88 million).
Baghmisheh Urbanism Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.99% to reach 16,080 rials per share.
The big loser was Pegah Golestan Dairy Company plunging 5.79% to reach 24,400 rials per share.
Marun Petrochemical Company, Arya Sasol Polymer Company, Sepehr Saderat Financial Group Investment Company and Zagros Petrochemical Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
Entekhab Electronic Arman Industrial Group Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Lavan Oil Refining Company, Hormozgan Steel Company and Day Bank.
