    Shares Close Slightly Higher

    Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, gained 14,221.44 points or 0.63% on Monday to end at 2,289,287.41. The TSE equal-weighted index climbed 1.30%.

    About 23.22 billion shares worth 170.99 trillion rials ($380 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

    Parsian Leasing Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 7% to 6,606 rials per share. Piranshahr Food Products and Sugar Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 5.6% to 14,660 rials per share.

    Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by National Iranian Copper Industries Company, Tamin Petroleum and Petrochemical Investment Company and Bouali Sina Petrochemical Company.

    Ghadir Investment Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company, Mellat Bank and Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines Company.

     

    IFX Inches Up 0.23%

    Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gained 65.24 points or 0.23% to close Monday at 28,952.44.

    About 14.42 billion securities worth 2,292.82 trillion rials ($5.09 billion) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

    Kerman Province Development Investment Company had the highest number of traded shares at 1.19 billion worth 2.15 trillion rials ($4.78 million).

    Melli Agro-Chemical Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 49.91% to reach 8,050 rials per share.

    The big loser was Alvand Maskan Investment Company plunging 5.96% to reach 15,470 rials per share.

    Marun Petrochemical Company, Sepehr Saderat Financial Group Investment Company, Hormozgan Steel Company and Zagros Petrochemical Company had the most negative impact on IFX.

    Iran Khodro Diesel Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Iranol Oil Company, Minoo Industrial Group Company and Damavand Power Generation Company.
