    Stock Markets Trade Higher

    Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, gained 21,119.49 points or 0.94% on Sunday to end at 2,275,066.71. The TSE equal-weighted index gained 1.59%.

    About 22.98 billion shares worth 161.55 trillion rials ($359.1 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

    Omid Development and Construction Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 12.71% to 2,279 rials per share.

    Iran Tractor Forging Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 4.99% to 5,900 rials per share.

    Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by MAPNA Group, National Iranian Copper Industries Company and Social Security Investment Company.

    Parsian Oil and Gas Development Group Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Omid Investment Management Group Company, Mines and Metals Development Investment Company and Telecommunication Company of Iran.

     

     

    IFX Adds 0.97%

    Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gained 276.77 points or 0.97% to close Sunday at 28,887.2.

    About 12.44 billion securities worth 561.38 trillion rials ($1.24 billion) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

    Iran Khodro Diesel Company had the highest number of traded shares at 973.47 billion worth 4.96 trillion rials ($11.04 million).

    Northeast Shahroud Industrial and Mining Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.99% to reach 149,150 rials per share.

    The big loser was Khorramdareh Plain Agriculture and Industry Complex plunging 6.33% to reach 39,200 rials per share.

    Hormozgan Steel Company, Entekhab Electronic Arman Industrial Group Company, Pasargad Oil Company and Kowsar Bahman Investment Management Company had the most negative impact on IFX.

    Marun Petrochemical Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Iran Khodro Diesel Company, Saba Tamin Investment Company and Sepehr Saderat Financial Group Investment Company.
