    Shares Extend Fall

    Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, lost 1565.65 points or 0.09% on Monday to end at 1,781,632.05. The TSE equal-weighted index dipped 0.1%.

    About 12.447 billion shares worth 80.996 trillion rials ($180.4 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

    Zar Spring Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 6.31% to 3,705 rials per share. Khazar Cement Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 6.79% to 32,240 rials per share.

    Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Middle East Mining and Industrial Development Company, Parsian Oil and Gas Development Company, Iran Telecommunication Company and Behshahr Industrial Development Holding Company.

    Iran Chemical Industries Investment Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Mobarakeh Steel Company, MAPNA Group, National Development Investment Group and Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company.

    Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX lost 11.02 points or 0.05% to close Monday at 22,707.56.

    About 9.5 billion securities worth 1,951 trillion rials ($4.03 billion) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

    Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 529.33 million worth 437.05 billion rials ($971,231).

    Pouya Zarkan Aq Darreh Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.4% to reach 32,400 rials per share.

    The big loser was Alvand Housing investment Company plunging 6.95% to reach 15,130 rials per share.

    Pasargad Insurance Company, Sepehr Saderat Financial Investment Company, Tukarail Company, Dey Bank and Kowsar Insurance Company had the most negative impact on IFX.

    Arya Sasol Polymer Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Pouya Zarkan Agh Darreh Company, Tabas Parvadeh Coal Company, Shiraz Oil Refining Company and Damavand Power Generation Company.
