Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, gained 7,741.18 points or 0.43% on Sunday to end at 1,795,955.23. The TSE equal-weighted index was up 0.86%.
About 12.24 billion shares worth 76.01 trillion rials ($168.9 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Sepahan Industrial Group Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 28.09% to 6,046 rials per share. Sabzevar Pars Steel Complex was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 4.86% to 26,810 rials per share.
Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company had the highest negative impact on TEDPIX, followed by National Iranian Copper Industries Company, Mobarakeh Steel Company and Tamin Petroleum and Petrochemical Investment Company.
Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by MAPNA Group, Ghadir Investment Company and Iran Khodro Company.
IFX Rises 0.29%
Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gained 65.26 points or 0.29% to close Sunday at 22,784.26.
About 5.47 billion securities worth 341.46 trillion rials ($758.8 million) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 398.43 million worth 330.6 billion rials ($734,680).
Entekhab Electronic Arman Industrial Group Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.79% to reach 25,950 rials per share.
The big loser was Kish Parsian Electronic Commerce Company plunging 6.95% to reach 12,050 rials per share.
Iranian Ghadir Iron and Steel Company, Shiraz Oil Refining Company, Kish Parsian Electronic Commerce Company and Sarcheshmeh Copper Investment Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
Entekhab Electronic Arman Industrial Group Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Iran Fara Bourse, Pasargad Bank and Day Bank.
