Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, gained 4,774.18 points or 0.26% on Monday to end at 1,809,073.81 but the TSE equal-weighted index lost 0.36%.
About 21.56 billion shares worth 122.84 trillion rials ($272.9 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Car leasing Khodro Ghadir Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 6.99% to 3,446 rials per share. Insurance Industry Investment Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 6.68% to 1,662 rials per share.
Middle East Mines and Mineral Industries Development Holding Company had the most negative impact on TEDPIX, followed by Parsian Oil and Gas Development Group Company, Pardis Petrochemical Company and Khouzestan Steel Company.
Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Tamin Petroleum and Petrochemical Investment Company, Pars Petrochemical Company and Iran Khodro Company.

Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX lost 42.8 points or 0.19% to close Monday at 22,714.68. About 8.99 billion securities worth 2,109.10 trillion rials ($4.68 billion) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day. Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 479.9 million worth 420.88 billion rials ($935,288).
Pegah East Azerbaijan Dairy Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.67% to reach 30,400 rials per share.
The big loser was Shahed Development and Construction Company plunging 6.86% to reach 13,180 rials per share.
Arya Sasol Polymer Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company, Entekhab Electronic Arman Industrial Group Company and Minoo Industrial Group Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
Gohar Zamin Iron Ore Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Hormozgan Steel Company, Iranian Ghadir Iron and Steel Company and Pasargad Insurance Company.
