    Tehran Stocks Show Resilience 

    The key index was able to overcome the resistance in the range of 1,668,000 points and advance to highs unseen in months with the potential to move higher

    Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, gained 82,188.58 points or 4.96% on Saturday to end at 1,738,782.27, posting the highest daily growth in recent months and displaying some rare resilience. The TSE equal-weighted index climbed 4.46%.

    About 18.14 billion shares worth 114.67 trillion rials ($254.82 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

    The key index was able to overcome the resistance in the range of 1,668,000 points and advance to highs unseen in months with the potential to move higher.

    Market charts along with the entry of the RSI into the upper 70% range showed the enthusiasm of stakeholders who for long periods preferred to err on the side of caution. 

    Civil Pension Fund Investment Company led the winning side as its shares jumped 7% to 16,360 rials per share.

    Saipa Glass Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 3.39% to 28,770 rials per share and had the highest negative impact on TEDPIX.

    Mobarakeh Steel Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by National Iranian Copper Industries Company, Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company and Ghadir Investment Company.

     

     

    Retail Trade Up

    Total market transactions reached 211.53 trillion rials ($423.06m). The value of debt securities traded in the secondary market was near 42.34 trillion rials ($84.68 m), accounting for 32.20% of the total value of transactions.

    The value of retail trade increased by 35% compared to the previous day reaching 103.17 trillion rials ($206.34m).

    Today, Iran Khodro Company's stock had the highest market transaction value, followed by Entekhab Company and Social Security Investment Company. 

    Capital inflow amounted to 14.74 trillion rials ($29.4 million) during the day, which was the highest since December 20, 2020.

    On Saturday the highest amount of capital inflow was for the Social Security Investment Company. 

     

     

    IFX Rises 4.04%

    Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gained 862.03 points or 4.04% to close Saturday at 22,208.26.

    About 8.05 billion securities worth 126.66 trillion rials ($281.47m) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

    Kerman Province Development Investment Company had the highest number of traded shares at 462.2 million worth 571.43 billion rials ($1.27m).

    Kish Parsian Electronic Commerce Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.95% to reach 10,930 rials per share.

    The main laggard was Tuka Refractories Production and Services Company plunging 0.34% to reach 8,860 rials per share and had the most negative impact on IFX.

    Arya Sasol Polymer Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Pasargad Insurance Company, Gohar Zamin Iron Ore Company and Hormozgan Steel Company.
