    TSE Edges Up 

    Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, gained 2,300.41 points or 0.15% on Monday to end at 1,548,278.30. The TSE equal-weighted index gained 0.40%.

    About 8.31 billion shares worth 47.32 trillion rials ($163.2 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

    Petrochemical Industries Investment Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 6.88% to 16,160 rials per share.

    AzarAb Industries Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 4.59% to 1,415 rials per share.

    Parsian Oil and Gas Development Group Company had the most negative impact on TEDPIX, followed by Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company, Civil Pension Fund Investment Company and Mobin Energy Persian Gulf Company.

    Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Mobarakeh Steel Company, Social Security Investment Company and Khouzestan Steel Company.

     

     

    IFX Rises 0.37%

    Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gained 74.49 points or 0.37% to close Monday at 20,170.68.

    About 7.71 billion securities worth 2,482.87 trillion rials ($8.56 billion) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

    Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 517.46 million worth 403.97 billion rials ($1.39 million). Etela Alborz Investment Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 10.26% to reach 3,663 rials per share.

    The big loser was Pakdis Company plunging 6.33% to reach 22,950 rials per share. Omid Taban Hour Energy Management Company, Marun Petrochemical Company, Alborz Distribution Company and Pakdis Company had the most negative impact on IFX.

    Arya Sasol Polymer Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Sirjan Jahan Steel Complex, Pasargad Insurance Company and Bahman Diesel Company.
