    Shares Move Up

    Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, gained 18,657.31 points or 1.21% on Tuesday to end at 1,556,516.37. The TSE equal-weighted index climbed 1.73%.

    About 9.95 billion shares worth 57.8 trillion rials ($134.41 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

    Iran Automotive Industrial Group Company led the winning table with its shares up 6.86% to 4,157 rials per share.

    Abadgaran Iran Tourism And Welfare Complexes Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 4.4% to 31,090 rials per share.

    Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company had the most negative impact on TEDPIX, followed by Parsian Oil and Gas Development Company, Kermanshah Petrochemical Company, Civil Pension Fund Investment Company and Pakshoo Industrial Group Company.

    National Iranian Copper Industries Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Mobarakeh Steel Company, Mellat Bank, Social Security Investment Company and Khouzestan Steel Company.

     

    IFX Climbs 1.46%

    Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gained 291.45 points or 1.46% to close Tuesday at 20,211.72. About 6.48 billion securities worth 72.2 trillion rials ($310.4 million) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

    Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 601.86 million worth 504.7 billion rials ($1.74 million).

    North West Housing Investment Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.94% to reach 7,090 rials per share.

    The big loser was Tuka Refractories Production and Services Company plunging 4.73% to reach 11,880 rials per share.

    Arya Sasol Polymer Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Pasargad Insurance Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company and Omid Taban Hour Energy Management Company.

    Alborz Distribution Company, Saman Insurance, Kowsar Insurance Company, Tuka Refractories Production and Services Company and South Housing Investment Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
