Tehran Stocks Rise 2% 

Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, gained 30,308.55 points or 2.06% on Sunday to end at 1,500,241.84. The TSE equal-weighted index gained 1.71%.

About 11.2 billion shares worth 65.64 trillion rials ($226.35 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

Atiye Damavand Investment Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 6.98% to 10,110 rials per share.

Azarbayjan Investment Development Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 4.41% to 122,250 rials per share.

Saipa Automaker Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Azarbayjan Investment Development Company, Zamyad Automotive Company and Khorasan Petrochemical Company.

Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Mobarakeh Steel Company, National Iranian Copper Industries Company and Chadormalu Mining And Industrial Company.

 

 

IFX Gains 0.87%

Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gained 164.34 points or 0.87% to close Sunday at 19,022.2.

About 6.83 billion securities worth 49.06 trillion rials ($169.2 m) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 1.72 billion worth 1.17 trillion rials ($4.03m).

Dena Afarin Fadak Food Preparation and Distribution Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.98% to reach 18,380 rials per share.

The big loser was Pasargad Insurance Company plunging 4.58% to reach 18,750 rials per share.

Pasargad Insurance Company, Tejaratno Insurance Company, Iran Fara Bourse and Aramis knowledge and Technology Pioneer Company (Tapsi) had the most negative impact on IFX.

Hormozgan Steel Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Zagros Petrochemical Company, Iranian Ghadir Iron and Steel Company and Arya Sasol Polymer Company.
