Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, gained 119.09 points or 0.01% on Sunday to end at 1,417,839.50. The TSE equal-weighted index gained 0.26%.
About 7.34 billion shares worth 35.6 trillion rials ($122.86 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Nirou Moharekeh Industrial Group Company led the winning side as its shares jumped 6.73% to 4,344 rials per share.
Piazar Agro Industrial Company was the main loser among TSE-listed companies plunging 4.26% to 40,660 rials per share.
Middle East Mines and Mineral Industries Development Holding Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company, Bouali Sina Petrochemical Company and Pars Petrochemical Company.
Iran Khodro Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index along with Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company, Saipa Automaker Company and Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company.
IFX Falls 0.09%
Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX lost 16.74 points or 0.09% to close Sunday at 18,656.49.
About 3.67 billion securities worth 53.98 trillion rials ($186.15m) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 320.51 million worth 195.4 billion rials ($673,817).
Iran Shargh Leasing Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 5.56% to reach 3,188 rials per share.
The big loser was Alvand Maskan Investment Company plunging 6.01% to reach 6,880 rials per share.
Pasargad Insurance Company, Minoo Industrial Group Company, Alborz Distribution Company and Tajali Mines and Metals Development Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
Bahman Diesel Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Arfa Iron and Steel Company, Daana Pharmaceutical Company and Gilan Electric Power Development Company.
