    TSE Ekes Out Small Gain

    TEDPIX, the main index of Tehran Stock Exchange, lost 943.76 points or 0.07% on Tuesday to end at 1,407,654.14.The TSE equal-weighted index gained 0.25%.

    About 7.3 billion shares worth 36.95 trillion rials ($127.4 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

    Pars Minoo Industrial Company led the winner’s side as its shares jumped 6.51% to 2,715 rials per share. Motogen Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 5.48% to 2,740 rials per share.

    Mobarakeh Steel Company was the laggard pulling down the benchmark, followed by Esfahan Oil Refining Company, Tehran Oil Refining Company and National Iranian Copper Industries Company.

    Saipa Automaker Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Bahman Group Company, Iran Aluminum Company and Iran Khodro Company.

     

    IFX Rises 0.18%

    Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX gained 32.54 points or 0.18% to close Tuesday at 18,542.61.

    About 5.67 billion securities worth 152.4 trillion rials ($525.53 billion) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

    Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 286.07 million worth 177.48 billion rials ($612,003).

    Shahdab Naab Khorasan Agro-Industry Company was the growth leader among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.96% to reach 1,659 rials per share. The big loser was Atrin Nakh Qom Company plunging 4.32% to reach 5,760 rials per share.

    Zagros Petrochemical Company, Saba Tamin Investment Company, Day Bank and Ghaed Basir Petrochemical Company had the most negative impact on IFX.

    Shiraz Oil Refining Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Minoo Industrial Group Company, Bahman Diesel Company and Omid Taban Hour Energy Management Company.
