    TEDPIX Ends Down

    Tehran Stock Exchange's main index, TEDPIX, lost 20,509.54 points or 1.45% on Saturday to end at 1,393,064.17. The TSE equal-weighted index lost 0.87%.

    About 8.46 billion shares worth 54.24 trillion rials ($187.05 million) changed hands for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

    Mellat Leasing Company led the winner’s list as its shares jumped 5.81% to 4,208 rials per share.

    Charkheshgar Company was the big loser among all TSE-listed companies plunging 6.13% to 15,920 rials per share.

    Mobarakeh Steel Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by the National Iranian Copper Industries Company, Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company and Tehran Oil Refining Company.

    Beh Pardakht Mellat gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Omid Investment Management Group Company, Shafa Darou Investment Company and Abyek Cement Company.

     

    IFX Falls 0.72%

    Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX lost 133.28 points or 0.72% to close Saturday at 18,345.19.

    About 3.93 billion securities worth 83.88 trillion rials ($289.24m) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

    Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 327.6 million worth 204.46 billion rials ($705,031).

    Tuka Paint Foolad Sepahan Company was in the lead in terms of growth among all IFB-listed companies climbing 6.44% to reach 13,220 rials per share.

    The big loser was Asia Zarin Madan Company 6.27% to reach 4,561 rials per share.

    Lavan Oil Refining Company, Shiraz Oil Refining Company, Zagros Petrochemical Company and Iranian Ghadir Iron and Steel Company had the most negative impact on IFX.

    Daana Pharmaceutical Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Kowsar Insurance Company, Caspian Tamin Pharmaceutical Company and Omid Taban Hour Energy Management Company.
