Tehran Stock Exchange Decline Continues  

The main index of Tehran Stock Exchange, TEDPIX, lost 10,675.49 points or 0.84% on Tuesday to end at 1,267,060.73.

About 4.96 billion shares worth 29.48 trillion rials ($91.3 million) changed hands for the day. Trade at the TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.

Azarbayjan Investment Development Company was the big gainer as its shares went up 5% to 113,190 rials per share.

MAPNA Group Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies losing 6.64% to 12,530 rials per share.

Omid Investment Management Group Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by MAPNA, Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company and Mobarakeh Steel Company.

Bandar Abbas Oil Refining Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Amin Investment Bank, Zar Macaron Industrial Group Company and Azarbayjan Investment Development Company.

 

IFX Down 0.93%

Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX lost 163.42 points or 0.93% to close Tuesday trade at the 17,488.01.

About 10.93 billion securities valued at 116.33 trillion rials ($401m) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.

Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 244.74 million worth 151.83 billion rials ($523,575).

Khazar Caspian Wood Industry Company ranked first with the highest growth among all IFB-listed companies rising 5.76%  to reach 27,550 rials per share.

The big loser was Day Insurance Company plunging 6.76% to reach 3,172 rials per share.

Iranian Ghadir Iron and Steel Company, Marun Petrochemical Company, Saba Tamin Investment Company and Pasargad Insurance Company had the most negative impact on IFX.

Pegah Golpayegan Dairy Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Ghaed Basir Petrochemical Company, Khazar Caspian Wood Industry Company and Ghiam Isfahan Agricultural and Livestock Company.
