Tehran Stock Exchange's main index TEDPIX lost 12,162.86 points or 0.93% on Sunday to end at 1,296,797.77.
About 5.24 billion shares worth 28.28 trillion rials ($97.5 million) changed hands at TSE for the day. Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Pegah Khorasan Dairy Company was the main winner as its shares went up 6.6% to 4,393 rials per share.
Chemi Darou Industrial Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and plunging 6.97% to 19,350 rials per share.
Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Mobarakeh Steel Company, Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company and Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company.
Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Shiraz Petrochemical Company, Iran Khodro Company and Zamyad Automotive Company.

Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX lost 71.9 points or 0.4% to close Sunday trade at the 17,782.91.
About 2.79 billion securities valued at 145.45 trillion rials ($501.57m) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares at 358.51 million worth 230.75 billion rials ($795,693).
FKA Agricultural and Animal Husbandry Company was at the top with the highest growth among all IFB-listed companies posing 6.91% rise to reach 8,050 rials per share.
The biggest loss maker was Dena Afarin Fadak Food Preparation and Distribution Company with 6.99% fall to reach the 7,190 rials per share.
Zagros Petrochemical Company, Marun Petrochemical Company, Shiraz Oil Refining Company and Iranian Ghadir Iron and Steel Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
Arya Sasol Polymer Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Tabas Parvardeh Coal Company, Daroupakhsh Distribution Company and Pouya Zarkan Agh Darreh Company.
