The main index of Tehran Stock Exchange, TEDPIX, lost 11,638.50 points or 0.88% on Sunday to end trade at 1,305,083.01.
About 4.96 billion shares worth 25.9 trillion rials ($89.3 million) changed hands for the day.
Trading at TSE and over-the-counter Iran Fara Bourse starts on Saturday and ends Wednesday.
Pars Switch Company was the biggest winner as its shares went up 4.99% to 4,148 rials per share.
Tehran Stock Exchange incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 6.39% to 5,270 rials per share.
Social Security Investment Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company, Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company and Pardis Petrochemical Company.
Pars Switch Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Kish South Kaveh Steel Company, Isfahan Cement Company and Asia Insurance Company.

Iran Fara Bourse main index IFX lost 138.26 points or 0.77% to close Sunday trade at the 17,824.02.
About 3.04 billion securities valued at 39.6 trillion rials ($136.7m) were traded at the over-the-counter exchange for the day.
Day Bank had the highest number of traded shares as 563.7 million of its shares worth 323.06 billion rials ($1.11m) were traded.
Iran Shargh Leasing Company had the highest growth among all IFB-listed companies with 6.99% rise to reach 3,442 rials per share.
The biggest loss was suffered by Rail Seir Kousar Company plunging 6.73% to reach 15,520 rials per share.
Pasargad Insurance Company, Arya Sasol Polymer Company, Iran Fara Bourse and Damavand Power Generation Company had the most negative impact on IFX.
Sirjan Jahan Steel Complex gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Iranian Ghadir Iron and Steel Company, Lavan Oil Refining Company and Dena Afarin Fadak Food Preparation and Distribution Company.
IME Performance
An estimated 953,482 tons of goods were sold in the Iran Mercantile Exchange on Sunday.
According to the IME website, cement topped the list with 745,851 tons, followed by aluminum 7,500 tons, 925 tons zinc and 12,700 tons of copper products.
Trade on the petrochemical and petroleum floor, included 6,225 tons bitumen, 4,995 tons polymers, 150,081 tons petrochemicals and 30,000 tons lube cut.
Trade on the export floor included 32,218 tons bitumen, 200 tons moisture insulation materials and 5,000 tons rebar.
Founded in 2006, IME is a commodities exchange based in Tehran. It offers farm, industrial and petrochemical products in the spot and futures markets.
