Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture is scheduled to host a business delegation from Poland on Oct. 9.
Members of the incoming delegation will represent a host of fields, including medicine and medical equipment, veterinary equipment, trade and commercial services, marketing, coal, oil, gas and petrochemical infrastructure, production and industrial machinery, water and sewage management, auto spare parts, cosmetics, electric transformers, agricultural machinery sales and services, gas distribution systems, livestock and poultry, chemical fertilizers and transportation terminals, the news portal of ICCIMA reported.

Iran’s trade with Poland stood at 22,664 tons worth $53.2 million in the fiscal 2021-22, registering a 79% and 28% year-on-year growth in weight and value respectively, according to Spokesman of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration Rouhollah Latifi.
Iran’s exports reached 18,134 tons worth $24.06 million, registering a 145% and 114% YOY growth in weight and value respectively.
Exports included chemicals, raisins, fruit juice, nuts, melamine, fabric, auto parts, mirror and glass, food supplements, plant extract, vegetable and fruit, flooring, iron bars, wire and cable, petroleum products, building materials, sheep intestine and saffron.
Iran’s imports amounted to 4,530 tons worth 2$9.14 million, registering a 14% decline in weight and a 4% drop in value.
Imports mainly included tractor and combine, mining machinery, electronic parts, food additives, metal wire, drilling machines, paper, medical and laboratory equipment, packaging machines and auto parts.
Polish Foreign Minister Zbigniew Rau was in Iran in May to meet his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.
