Drug addiction continues to be a major social challenge with parents declaring it occupies 91% of their concerns about their children. The head of the family health office at the ministry of health, Mohammad Esmail Motlagh said most of the prisoners are sentenced for drug-related offences and half of the divorces are due to drug addiction, ISNA reported. He added that most of the drug addicts are below the age of 35.
