TEDPIX Ends Slightly Higher

After gains a session earlier trade in Tehran’s share market was lukewarm on Tuesday.  

The benchmark of Tehran Stock Exchange, TEDPIX, gained 2,619.6 points or 0.17% to end trade at 1,574,065.

Retail trade dropped 12% to reach 49.17 trillion rials ($153 million). Net capital outflow by retail investors stood at 3.11 trillion rials ($9.7m).  

More than 61% of the stocks closed lower comprising 383 tickers while 250 others gained.   

About 8.38 billion shares valued at 51.51 trillion rials ($160m) changed hands at TSE for the day.

Iran Auto Parts Industrial Group Company was the top winner as its shares went up 5.68% to 3,258 rials per share.

Shomal Cement Company incurred the biggest loss among all TSE-listed companies and went down 5.41% to 9,450 rials per share.

National Iranian Copper Industries Company contributed the most to the benchmark's fall, followed by Tabriz Oil Refining Company, Social Security Investment Company and Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines Company.

Middle East Mines and Mineral Industries Development Holding Company gave the biggest boost to the benchmark index, followed by Khouzestan Steel Company, Nouri Petrochemical Company and Mines and Metals Development Investment Company.

 

IFX Rises 0.3%

Iran Fara Bourse main index, IFX, gained 59.11 points or 0.28% to close Tuesday trade at 21,481.

About 3.17 billion shares and securities valued at 73.71 trillion rials ($230m) were traded at the junior equities exchange for the day.

Gohar Zamin Iron Oil Company, Arya Sasol Polymer Company, Daana Pharmaceutical Company and Pouya Zarkan Agh Darreh Company had the most negative impact on IFX.

Pasargad Insurance Company gave the biggest boost to IFX, followed by Iranian Ghadir Iron and Steel Company, Damavand Power Generation Company and Tabas Parvardeh Coal Company.
