$443m in Exports From Yazd

The central Yazd province exported more than 1.25 million metric tons of commodities worth above $443 million in the first ten months of the current Iranian calendar year (ending March20), the head of the province’s Economic and Financial Affairs Organization, Ali Namzi has told Mehr news agency. The exports indicate a 10% rise in volume and an 8% hike in value compared with the similar period last year, the official said, adding that 23,346 tons of goods worth $123.8 million were also imported to the province during the same period. Both the import volume and value registered a 14% growth compared with last year.
