Iran-Uzbekistan’s 14th Economic Commission is to be held on Feb. 20-21 in Tehran, according to Mohammad Reza Karimzadeh, an official with the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran.
“Over the past few days, negotiators from the two sides have been busy drafting the joint commission’s memorandum of understanding that includes fields such as economy, investment, customs cooperation, transportation, energy, health, science and technology, tourism, agriculture and cultural affairs,” he was quoted as saying by IRNA.
Karimzadeh noted that on the sidelines of this commission, the two sides are scheduled to attend a “Trade Opportunities Forum” on Monday to survey ways of expanding bilateral commercial interactions.
