The law to protect children and adolescents’ rights is pending in the Majlis Legal Affairs Committee, said Abdol ali Mirkoohi, legal deputy for the minister of justice. He hoped the Majlis committee would discuss the bill “in the shortest possible time,” ISNA reported. The bill seeks to protect the rights of boys and girls below the age of 10 and is an attempt to ensure the physical and emotional well-being of children.
