With the completion of the Comprehensive Trade Information System, the flow of goods and money will be integrated in the supply chains, the Ministry of Industries, Mining and Trade announced in its latest report.
The ministry has reviewed its activities in the third quarter of the current Iranian year (Sept. 23-Dec. 21), including its achievements in various fields and the progress achieved in various projects, Peivast reported.
The development of infrastructure for the domestic trade system, creation of interactive platforms, including mobile phone software, establishment of infrastructure for internal logistics operations linking the bill of lading and the formation of a comprehensive warehouse system are among measures implemented in this project with 85% progress.
The report states that the Internet Business Ranking Plan was mentioned in the section on the projects and achievements of the ministry in the fall of fiscal 2021-22 and has progressed by 20%.
According to the report, a total of 300 small, medium and large businesses have applied for a ranking so far.
The Internet Business Ranking Plan is one of the plans opposed by the private sector, including the Virtual Businesses Association.
By enabling the market monitoring of fake products, economic activities will be identified for taxation.
Business Services Platform
The Industries, Mining and Trade Ministry has established mechanisms for identifying business service providers for expanding and strengthening business service platforms.
The ministry has also prepared a call for the participation of business service providers. The project has progressed by 10% so far and is scheduled to be completed by March 20.
It hopes that with the implementation of the project, the cost of business services will be significantly reduced and in addition to getting easier access to technology and services, they will produce better quality products.
Distribution Services, Business Databases
The ministry has set up a working group to review logistics and fast-moving consumer goods companies to assess issues in this area.
The working group has examined problems related to the activity of the major distribution system and disseminated information related to international laws and protocols. This project, which will continue until the seventh month of the next fiscal year (Sept. 23-Oct. 22, 2022), has progressed by 10%.
The project related to business databases is mentioned in the report as follows: "In this project, business data will be completed and integrated and the possibility of exchanging information between organizations is provided with different access levels depending on the intended user."
According to the report, it is possible to monitor the activities of new units and existing businesses. Activists in this field can also have access to data and information as a meta-device.
The implementation of license inquiry services has made 40% progress and the remaining 60% will be completed by the end of the year.
Single-Window System
A single-window system will help link stakeholders and private service providers with government agencies. In this system, all the paper and electronic legal documents for a particular type of business are issued to a unit or location, and the necessary permits are issued in the same unit.
By entering this system, business licenses will be received without visiting various organizations in the shortest possible time.
So far, the following measures have been taken in this regard: designing and implementing a service desk portal for getting direct access to all services and applications of the ministry in the fields of industry, mining and trade, the establishment of a Single Sign-On system (SSO) as a single infrastructure for the registration and authentication of all real and legal stakeholders, the connection of two selected systems to SSO infrastructure based on agreed standards and protocols, the establishment of an enterprise service bus infrastructure to disseminate services required by the system and design the service desk’s portal web pages.
